JONATHAN ADLER

BIO

Jon Adler worked for a New York-based production company as a Producer and Writer for over 15 years. He studied filmmaking at the University of Colorado at Boulder film program. In 2014 Jon founded the production company Adler Films, Inc. Under the Adler Films banner he wrote and produced his first feature film Dead Sound (released in 2020, www.deadsoundmovie.com), a thriller based on true events that happened to him and some friends in high school. His film made a strong impression on actor/director Ron Howard, who Tweeted @RealRonHoward, “Hey check out a friend of mine’s strong 1st movie if you want a good dose of suspense on screen tonight. It’s streaming now.”  Jon has several film and television projects in development. 

In 2023, Jon acquired the movie and television rights through his production company for all of the late best selling author Ted Bell’s novels including the Alexander Hawke spy series and the YA Time Travel adventure series.
